Acuity Business & Tax Advisors, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “Acuity”) treats client confidentiality and data security as the foundation of every engagement. While our formal policy is finalized, the working principles are:
- We collect only the information needed to provide tax, accounting, and advisory services or to respond to a contact-form inquiry.
- We do not sell or rent client information to third parties for marketing purposes — ever.
- We share information with third parties only when needed to deliver our services (e.g., e-filing platforms, payroll processors, IRS or state tax authorities), or when required by law.
- We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted document portals, two-factor authentication, secure email when transmitting tax data) to protect confidential information.
- You have the right to ask what information we hold about you and to request its correction or deletion, subject to our legal and professional record-retention obligations.
