What we do

Proactive planning, all year long.

A good accountant should never cost you money out of pocket. Our proven tax strategies save you taxes year after year.

01 · Plan

Proactive Planning

We begin all of our engagements by identifying your needs and goals. Each business is as unique as its owner. As your business, your life, and the tax code all change, we watch out for you and adapt your plan.

Our approach
02 · Tax

Tax Strategy

The tax code impacts your business all year. As tax advisors, we help you identify opportunities to save money. We view the filing of the return as a simple formality at the end of the year because we have been working on it for the last 12 months.

03 · Accounting

Accounting

Accounting is the language of business, and we view ourselves as interpreters. With our focus on technology, we keep you up to date with live data and financial dashboards. With good numbers and good advisors, you have the confidence to achieve your goals.

Common questions

Before your first session.

What does a free Strategy Session cover?

A 30-minute conversation about your current tax and accounting situation. We listen first, identify two or three opportunities or risks specific to your business, and explain what an ongoing relationship would look like. There is no pitch. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you.

Do you only work with Utah businesses?

Most of our clients are based in Utah, but we serve clients in many states from our cloud-based platform. If your business is multi-state or your personal return crosses jurisdictions, we are well set up to handle it — Brad, Justin, and Jayna all have multi-state experience.

What is the difference between a tax advisor and a tax preparer?

A tax preparer files your return based on what already happened. A tax advisor works with you all year — before transactions occur — to position your business and your personal finances so the return reflects a deliberate strategy. Filing is the last step, not the only step.

How are fees structured?

Most clients are on a flat monthly fee that bundles tax planning, return preparation, and ongoing communication (calls, meetings, software help) so there is no hourly meter running when you have a question. We will quote a specific fee after the Strategy Session.

What software do you support?

We work with most modern small-business stacks. Bring whatever you have — QuickBooks Online, Xero, spreadsheets, or paper — and we will help you get to a clean, reliable system you can run from. Specific platform partnerships listed on this site once confirmed.
