Brad Folsom specializes as a taxation and consulting services professional for the varied clients of Acuity. These clients range from large, multi-state entities to small locally owned businesses and individuals. Each are important to Brad, and he loves nothing better than to maximize after-tax net income for his clients. He specializes in finding or creating optimum tax-efficient business and individual tax solutions and structures, including multiple-entity solutions.

Brad had been an owner or partner in CPA and accounting firms from our same office location since coming to Ogden in 1984. For 31 years, until 2011, he practiced as a licensed CPA in Oregon, Arizona and Utah, including work as an auditor of publicly traded SEC registered companies, but now concentrates exclusively on areas of taxation and consulting.

Brad graduated from Brigham Young University, magna cum laude, with a BS degree in Accounting. He has served as the President of local professional and Rotary organizations, and currently serves as Treasurer and Director of the Ogden Union Station Foundation. He also currently serves as a class leader and mentor for BYU-Idaho online students meeting at Weber State University each week since 2016, was active as a Boy Scouts Scoutmaster for 12 years and has served in many other positions for his Church and community. He is married to his wife Wendy and has 5 married kids and 19 grandchildren. He loves to travel, enjoying photography, reading and hiking.
